Mohan was involved with Cognizant since its startup days in India and over the years built and managed a $200 million dollar business practice focused on serving the needs of global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare companies. Mohan brings tremendous experience in building, scaling and managing India based delivery centers for global customers.
Pierre E. Etienne
Dr Pierre E. Etienne is a clinical development specialist with extensive management experience in large and small pharmaceutical companies. He has a proven track record of successes in early clinical research, clinical operations, including the execution of large clinical programs, regulatory submissions and licensing. His academic experience spanned 10 years of teaching and research in psychiatry. After 3 years in Ciba- Geigy as Associate Director of Clinical Biology Group, he spent the next 13 years managing global clinical research groups at Pfizer. Pierre then joined PhageTech Inc.(now Targanta Therapeutics) as President & Chief Executive Officer and transformed the Montreal-based small biotech company into a small pharmaceutical company (80 employees) focused on hospital products for serious infections.
Ashok Ganguly is currently Chairman of India’s 5th largest business process outsourcing company and serves on various boards and advisory committees of companies such as Wipro and Microsoft (India). Dr Ganguly was worldwide head of R & D for Unilever and later the Chairman of Hindustan Lever (a subsidiary of Unilever in India). Dr. Ganguly also has been Chairman of India’s largest Media and Publications group. He is a special advisor to the Prime Minister of India’s office on foreign trade & investment policy and has served on the boards of Reserve Bank of India, British Airways and Biocon.
Lawrence (Larry) Rothman, PhD has been a consultant, analyst, adviser and entrepreneur for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry and its suppliers for over 35 years. He is CEO of PharmaFlex International, a leader in global interim R&D staffing for the Biopharmaceuticals Industry (www.pharmaflexintl.com) and concurrently CEO of The Lawrence Group LLC, a company that advises the industry and its executives on management issues. He has advised many of the leading global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry on a broad range of issues during his career and has appeared on CNBC and quoted in trade journals and the general business press.
He has been a senior executive/practice leader for the consulting businesses for IBM, Enrst & Young and Capgemini and global head for R&D Informatics for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis).
Gopakumar Menon has over 21 years of experience in global service delivery and has been in Life Sciences domain for the last eight years. He has been instrumental in driving sizable business development success for leading companies such as Cognizant Technologies.
